Nate "Mr. Defyned" Huston
As Retired Chief Warrant Officer 2 Nate served two tours in combat in Camp Ramadi, Iraq (2011) and FOB Sharana, Afghanistan (2013). He also served in humanitarian support for Porta Prince, Haiti after the 2010 earthquake. He led junior Soldiers at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Joint base Lewis-McChord, Washington, Camp Humphreys, Korea, Fort Lee Virginia, and Fort Stewart, Georgia. His greatest joys were in training young Soldiers in their military occupational specialty (MOS), developing junior leaders into trustworthy Sergeants and Lieutenants, capable of critical thinking to accomplish any mission in life or in combat.
The Mission
As a leader, mentor, and instructor in the U.S. Army Nate encountered many young Soldiers throughout his career. While training the Soldiers he identified the need to improve the minds of the youth before they reach adult age, at the critical years of their lives that have the greatest effect on how they develop as adults outside of sports activities and clubs. Defyned Nation Enterprise is building with the intent to provide the financial resources to invest back into the youth. Through the development of a successful enterprise Defyned Nation will establish youth workshops that provide mentorship, tutoring and resources to advance the youth within our communities.
